Actually, for this topic, the first thing comes to my mind is my Ipad. Like many students, I got an Ipad from my parents , like, two years ago? I guess. At that time, I told my dad I need a portable Ipad, then I don't need to carry a heavy schoolbag anymore. When I got it, I loved it a lot, because, you know, the screen is bigger, I started to download apps from the first moment, and then enjoyed on it day and night. I think this device helped me out a lot. I could read books, play games, or do video-chat with family and friends. However, after that, I got admitted to a boarding school, actually, students were not allowed to bring e-devices to school, like an ipad, or a cellphone. That's why I didn't use my Ipad too often. I could go back home ,like every two months, enjoy some family hours, and , watch videos on my Ipad.
