The booming global population has urged more exploitation from nature so as to meet the demand either for human survival or for its squander. However, the increasing needs lead to the natural resources consumed at a tremendous speed and cause immediate or long-terms concerns so that a certain set of solutions should be proposed to address these pressing issues.

In regard to the alarming challenges, it would eventually affect citizens in the global context if awareness were not raised. Problems like deforestation and over herding are critical in the long run as they both degrade the coverage of vegetation, which would instantly cause less carbon dioxide absorbed and aggravate the global warming effect as well as gradually turn the fertile soil into deserts, an unwanted result that previous populated and prosperous habitats have to be abandoned by both human beings and animals. The scenario is similar 0 freshwater, vital to human dwellings and vulnerable to over-exploitation. In terms of non-renewable energy resources like gas and oil, there is a long-lasting worry that they may be exhausted in the near future and then the world economy would collapse as the power sources are dried up.

In order to secure survival for species including human, governments, individuals and scientists should all devote their efforts. The authorities, for example, can label major wooded areas as felling, afforestation and preservation as well as set up firm regulations for logging companies and local inhabitants to obey. Concerning water resources, bureau in charge should build up a hydraulic system consisting of facilities like dams and reservoirs, guaranteeing the storage of freshwater and generation of power. Individuals, accordingly, should lead ways of life in which energy saving and resources preservation is adopted. The last concern, the future shortage of fossil fuels, can be solved as the scientific breakthroughs these days are indicating that the utility of renewable energy is no longer the science fiction plots.
