Starting from April 2023, Minzhi Sub-district Public Chinese Culture Class has held cultural activities with various themes.The relief painting in November will be the last event of 2023, and everyone who loves Chinese culture is welcome to participate! 从2023年4月开始，民治国际街区公益汉语文化课堂举办了各种主题的文化活动。 11月的浮雕画将是2023年的最后一个活动，欢迎每一位喜爱中国文化外国友人来参加！

Butterflies represent a lot of imagery in Chinese culture. It symbolizes freedom, beauty and ephemerality, as well as accidents and changes, and is a very expressive image in Chinese literature and culture. 蝴蝶在中国文化里面代表了很多意象。它象征着自由、美好和短暂，也代表着意外和改变，是中国文学和文化中极具表现力的一个形象。 In the very famous love story "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" in China, butterflies represent beautiful love. When Liang Zhu parted, Zhu Yingtai"s tears dotted among the flowers and turned into a butterfly. It rested lightly on Liang Shanbo"s shoulder and flew towards the sky. 在中国非常有名的爱情故事“梁山伯与祝英台”里面，蝴蝶代表了美好的爱情。梁祝离别时，祝英台的泪水点在花间，化成了一只蝴蝶。它轻轻地停在梁山伯的肩上，向着天空飞去。

There is a fable in the "Zhuangzi" that tells the story in a dream. The protagonist is a man who dreams that he has turned into a butterfly and spreads his wings and flies. In the dream, he was completely immersed in the feeling of a butterfly, as if he were the butterfly. 《庄子》中曾有一则寓言，讲述的是一个梦中的故事。故事的主角是一个男子，他梦见自己变成了一只蝴蝶，展翅飞翔。在梦中，他完全沉浸在蝴蝶的感觉之中，仿佛自己就是那只蝴蝶。

This workshopwill teach you how to portray butterflies through relief painting, making the butterflies in the artwork seem as if they are about to take flight. Combining Chinese symbolism and stories about butterflies, it will provide you with a dual enjoyment of both visual and spiritual aspects. 本次工作坊将教你如何将蝴蝶通过浮雕画的形式展现出来，使得画面中的蝴蝶仿佛要飞舞而出，结合中国关于蝴蝶的寓意和故事，带给你视觉和心灵的双重享受！

Time时间: 7:30-9:00 p.m. Sat. 25 Nov. 2023 Platform平台: ZOOM Participants who have the making materials can have interaction with the teacher.
