This happened a few years ago, just before his final exams. My cousin had always struggled with math, while I was a few years older and had done quite well in the subject. So, my family asked me if I could help him prepare for his exams.During the tutoring sessions, I quickly realized that my cousin actually understood the math concepts quite well. His main problem wasn’t that he didn’t understand the material, but that he often made careless mistakes when solving problems. He would rush through the questions without reading them carefully or skip important steps in his calculations. I decided to focus on helping him become more careful and organized when working through math problems. I kept reminding him to read each question carefully, follow the steps, and double-check his answers after finishing.After several days of studying together, I could see that my cousin was becoming more confident and careful in his approach to solving math problems. When he finally took his final exams, his math grade improved significantly. He was really happy with his progress, and I was proud that my help had made a difference.I felt really good about the experience. It was rewarding to see my cousin do better in a subject he had struggled with for so long.
