Her name is Lily, and we were classmates in both primary and middle school. We used to spend a lot of time together, studying and playing during breaks. We were quite close back then because we saw each other every day in class and had similar interests.After we graduated from middle school, we went to different high schools. Because of this, and the fact that both of us were quite busy with our studies, we didn’t keep in touch much. Also, later, we went to different universities in different cities, so our lives went in separate directions, and we lost contact completely.Years later, after graduating from university, I started working at a company. To my surprise, I discovered that she was also working there, and even more surprisingly, we were in the same department! It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise to see her again after so many years.When we reconnected, it felt like no time had passed at all. We started talking about our memories from school and quickly became good friends again. It was a bit emotional, as I didn’t expect to meet an old friend in the workplace, but it made me happy.
