作文题目Some people think that society would benefit if more people studied business than history. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

范文解析People have different views on whether society benefits more from people studying history or from business. In my opinion, having more people study business is overall better for society.On one hand, having more people study history can certainly benefit society. When studying history, students learn about the past, which is crucial to allowing them to understand the present and the future. It opens their eyes to the relationships between societies and people on both a global and national level. In addition, learning history helps challenge students" intellect and develops their ability to think critically. For example, history students are often required to write essays to argue for a position and support it with careful citations. Having a generation of smart, analytical young adults is surely something that would benefit society tremendously.However, I still believe that it would be better for society if more students studied business because the skills they learn from it are generally more practical while also teaching them about the world. Business students are normally required to study basic economics, accounting, finance, and business management. Studying these various subjects give students a broader understanding of society, encouraging them to engage with the business world in the future. Moreover, business classes teach students practical skills that they might use throughout their career and personal lives. For instance, business management teaches students how to better communicate with coworkers and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. Meanwhile, learning finance allows students to one day handle their wealth responsibly, generating passive income safely and steadily.For these reasons, I believe that society would be better off if more people studied business rather than history.欢迎添加下方二维码咨询更多课程
