Today, I would like to share with you a wise fable titled "How the Camel Got His Hump," authored by the esteemed writer Rudyard Kipling. This tale narrates the story of a camel who, due to his arrogance and refusal to collaborate, is saddled with a hump, which later transforms into a source of energy aiding his journey after embracing his responsibilities. It exemplifies the attributes of "Thinkers" and "Caring" from our IB Learner Objectives.In the story, the camel initially fails to consider his responsibilities as a member of the community, acting solely on his whims. Meanwhile, other animals, through reflection and dialogue, recognize the adverse effects of the camel"s behavior on the entire group and actively seek solutions. This serves as a reminder that when confronted with issues, we should not rely solely on impulsive actions or ingrained notions, but rather engage in deep contemplation of the problem"s essence, weigh the pros and cons, and make reasonable judgments.When the animals thrice attempt to persuade the camel to no avail, they do not resort to blame or abandonment but instead build bridges of communication with a constructive attitude. This caring is evident not only in safeguarding the community"s interests but also in embracing the camel as an individual. When the camel eventually changes his stance, the hump transforms from a symbol of punishment into a support system, a miracle wrought by collective care. This underscores the importance of maintaining rational thinking while embracing humanistic warmth in community service and group collaborations, using wisdom to resolve conflicts and empathy to bridge divides. Should you encounter problems beyond your solve, do not hesitate to seek assistance from your teachers.Lastly, I hope you can cultivate the qualities of "Thinkers" and "Caring" in your future studies and life, actively participating in various community activities and collaborating with others to work towards creating a better community. Campus Art Plein-Air WeekIn Search of SpringDates: March 10 – March 14We organized a campus plein-air activity. Under the careful guidance of our foreign art teacher, Ms. Rita, students traversed every corner of the campus, meticulously capturing the details of spring. Whether it was the vibrant flowers, the tender new buds, or the architectural outlines under the interplay of light and shadow, students observed from various angles and distances, precisely recording these elements through their lenses to provide rich and vivid material for their subsequent artistic creations. In the art classroom, students reassembled the elements from their photos and transformed them into unique works with their brushes, creating dreamlike spring scenes.

2025 MIS Spring House Sports MeetingDate: March 12The MIS Spring Sports Meet, themed "Perseverance, Challenge, Collaboration, and Friendship," aimed to enhance students" athletic abilities and sportsmanship. It encouraged students to learn teamwork and perseverance while maintaining respect and camaraderie. IB PYP Assembly:"Holistic Development" Event ReviewDates: March 13This week"s IB assembly began with a vibrant opening, as students sang a new IB Learner Profile song, setting a positive tone for reflection and learning. The focus was on linking moments of good sportsmanship from the recent sports day to the IB Learner Profile features.We concluded by reminding students that sportsmanship is not only reflected on the sports field but also in our daily interactions. By embodying the Learner Profile, students can grow into balanced and respectful individuals both in and out of the classroom.

校园艺术写生周春意寻踪时间:3月10日—3月14日我们开展了一场校园写生活动。在外籍艺术老师Ms. Rita的悉心指导下,全校学生穿梭于校园的各个角落,仔细捕捉春天的细节。无论是娇艳欲滴的花朵,还是嫩绿初绽的枝芽,亦或是光影交错下的建筑轮廓,学生们从不同角度、不同距离去观察,也精准记录在镜头中,为后续的艺术创作提供了丰富而生动的素材。在艺术教室里,学生们将照片中的元素重新组合,用画笔转化为一幅幅独特的作品,创造出梦幻般的春日景象。

2025 MIS春季学院运动会时间:3月12日MIS春季学院运动会以“坚毅、挑战、协助、友谊”为主题,秉承在运动中增强学生的运动能力素养和运动精神品质,希望学生们通过运动会学习团队协作与拼搏,同时也在竞争中保持尊重和友谊,领悟到运动的内涵与价值。IB PYP主题集会:“全面发展”活动回顾时间:3月13日本次IB集会以充满活力的开场开始,学生们唱起了一首新的IB学习者特质歌曲,为反思和学习奠定了积极的基调,重点是将运动会上的良好体育精神时刻与IB学习者特质联系起来。我们提醒学生,体育精神不仅仅体现在运动会上,它还体现了我们日常的互动方式。通过践行学习者档案,学生可以在课堂内外成长为平衡、尊重他人的个体。
