清明节祭英烈，让红色基因深植心间丨LWS美高国际视野下的红色传承

美高双语学校开展清明祭扫活动Living Word Shanghai Bilingual School Holds Qingming Festival Memorial Activities

三月，微风轻拂，裹挟着春的馥郁芬芳；四月，细雨如酥，悄然润泽大地。在这万物生长又满含追思的时节，我们迎来了 2025 年的清明。为传承革命传统、赓续红色根脉、厚植爱国情怀，4 月 2 日下午，美高双语学校组织师生代表，怀着无比崇敬与深切缅怀之情，奔赴青浦区东乡烈士陵园，庄重开展 “清明祭英烈，传承红基因” 祭扫活动。

In March, the gentle breeze blows, carrying the rich fragrance of spring. In April, the drizzle is as soft as cream, quietly moistening the earth. In this season when all things are thriving and filled with remembrance, we welcomed the Qingming Festival in 2025. In order to inherit the revolutionary traditions, continue the red heritage, and cultivate a deep patriotic sentiment, on the afternoon of April 2nd, representatives of teachers and students from Living Word Shanghai Bilingual School, with great respect and deep remembrance in their hearts, went to the Dongxiang Martyrs Cemetery in Qingpu District and solemnly carried out the memorial activity of "Paying Tribute to Martyrs on Qingming Festival and Inheriting the Red Gene".  

少先队大队的辅导员陈老师宣布祭扫活动正式拉开帷幕。在庄严肃穆的纪念碑前，《义勇军进行曲》奏响，旋律激昂雄壮，全场师生齐声高唱国歌，歌声响彻陵园。国歌毕，全体师生肃立，向为中国人民解放事业而英勇献身的烈士们鞠躬默哀，以无声却饱含深情的方式，寄托对先烈的沉痛哀思。随后，学生代表缓缓走向纪念碑，向革命先烈敬献花圈，洁白的花圈承载着无尽敬意，在纪念碑前格外醒目。Teacher Chen, the counselor of the Young Pioneers Brigade, announced the official start of the memorial ceremony. In front of the solemn and stately monument, the "March of the Volunteers" was played. The melody was stirring and majestic, and all the teachers and students in the audience sang the national anthem in unison, with their voices resounding throughout the cemetery. After the national anthem ended, all the teachers and students stood in solemn silence.They bowed their heads and observed a moment of silence for the martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives for the liberation of the Chinese people, expressing their profound grief and remembrance for the martyrs in a silent but deeply affectionate way. Subsequently, the student representatives slowly walked towards the monument and presented a wreath to the revolutionary martyrs. The pure white wreath, carrying boundless respect, was particularly eye-catching in front of the monument.

8A班Asher同学作为学生代表发言。他言辞恳切，倡议同学们铭记革命先烈的丰功伟绩，继承先烈遗志，树立远大理想，勤奋学习，以实际行动为祖国强盛、家乡繁荣添砖加瓦，告慰先烈英灵。紧接着，德育罗校长发表讲话。他号召全体师生铭记历史，继承和发扬革命先辈的优良传统，以先烈为榜样，努力学习、积极进取。罗校长强调，要珍惜这来之不易的幸福生活，以更饱满的热情投入到学习与工作中，为实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦贡献力量。Asher, a student from Class 8A, spoke as a student representative. With sincere words, he proposed that his classmates should always remember the great feats of the revolutionary martyrs, inherit the martyrs" behests, set lofty ideals, study diligently, and take practical actions to contribute to the strength of the motherland and the prosperity of their hometowns, so as to console the spirits of the martyrs.Right after that, Principal Luo in charge of moral education delivered a speech. He called on all teachers and students to bear in mind the history, inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of the revolutionary predecessors, follow the examples of the martyrs, study hard and strive for progress actively. Principal Luo emphasized that we should cherish this hard-won happy life, and devote ourselves to study and work with even greater enthusiasm, so as to contribute our part to realizing the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.  

在讲解员引导下，师生们有序参观烈士陵园内的革命历史纪念馆。馆内，珍贵的历史图片、文物静静陈列，一座座浮雕、一张张图片、一件件展品、一段段感人故事，生动展现了革命先烈的英勇事迹和艰苦卓绝的革命斗争历程，让全体师生接受了一次深刻的思想洗礼与教育。Under the guidance of the guide , calling on students to remember history, inherit and promote the fine traditions of our revolutionary forebearers, take them as examples, study hard and make progress every day. Vice Principal Luo urged all teachers and students to cherish the hard-won happy life, to engage in learning and work with even more enthusiasm, and to contribute their strength to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the Chinese Dream.

此次 “清明祭英烈，传承红基因” 祭扫活动，成功培育和践行了社会主义核心价值观，极大激发了师生们的爱国主义情怀，坚定了大家的理想信念。烈士们的崇高精神，将化作永恒动力，激励美高师生在为祖国繁荣富强、民族伟大复兴的奋斗道路上砥砺前行。Led by volunteers, teachers, and students orderly visited the Revolutionary History Museum within the Martyrs" Cemetery. Through viewing precious historical photos and artifacts, they gained a deeper understanding of the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs and the arduous journey of the revolutionary struggle. Bas-reliefs, photos, exhibits, and touching stories told teachers and students about loyalty and honor. All teachers and students received a profound ideological education and baptism.
