Topic: A Place You Would Recommend for Others to LivePart 2 (Cue Card): Describe a place you would recommend for others to live in.You should say:● what the place is● when and where you heard about it● what it looks like● and explain why you think it is a good place to live.Well, the place that I would always recommend, and I have recommended to almost anyone that I have a conversation with, is Vancouver. So Vancouver is a city on the west coast of Canada. It"s just north of Seattle in the United States.And I lived there for a year when I was studying in Canada. I did an exchange year from my university in England, and it was the most incredible city that I think I"ve ever visited.And the amazing thing about it is that it"s a modern city. So it has great restaurants and great bars and museums and things like that. But it"s also next to the sea, so it has amazing beaches.It"s next to mountains as well. So it"s ringed by very tall mountains. And wherever you stand in the city, you can look out, and over the skyscrapers, you can see these mountains. And quite often they"ve got snow on the top, they"re snow-capped mountains.And it also has amazing green areas, parks and other areas where you can go running, you can go cycling. So it really has everything. It"s an absolutely incredible city.The problem with that is that everybody else thinks it"s an incredible city as well. And so the price of living there, the price of buying a house, has become unbelievably expensive.And that would be the other recommendation that I would make to whoever I was talking to. I would say try to live in Vancouver, but be prepared financially because it is extremely expensive to live.The rest of the costs in Vancouver are kind of normal, not absolutely ridiculous. But the cost of paying for rent or for buying a house or apartment is absolutely astronomical.So I would say that 90% of the things in Vancouver are fantastic. That aspect is pretty difficult, but you can get past that in some way. It"s an amazing place to live, and I would thoroughly, wholeheartedly recommend it.编辑：Moon李▼IDE英创教育
