Topic: A Positive Change You MadePart 2 (Cue Card): Describe a positive change that you’ve made recently in your dailyroutine.You should say:- What the change is- How you have changed your routine- Why you think it is a positive change- And explain how you feel about the changeWell, a positive change that I made quite recently was cutting chocolate out of my daily routine. So I"d built up a really, like, strong habit of, after lunch, having a strong cup of coffee and several pieces of dark chocolate.Now, it"s not a terrible thing to do. In fact, some people say it"s actually quite a healthy thing to do. But I found that I"d almost got to the stage where I couldn"t function, I couldn"t think, I had headaches if I didn"t have those two pieces of dark chocolate after lunch.And then I started to have two more pieces a few hours later and two more. And so, in the end, I was eating like a lot of chocolate in the day. I mean, still, it wasn"t an absolutely terrible habit, but I didn"t like the idea of being dependent on that chocolate.So I decided to cut it out of my routine. And that"s the change that I"ve made. I think it"s a positive change because, I mean, not only am I avoiding taking on that sugar from the dark chocolate, but also it"s a sense of taking back control.So I feel like now I"m in control of the things that I eat. I"m not in a cycle of eating more and more chocolate. So I think it"s positive for that reason.And as a result of that, I feel very good about that change. It was a little bit difficult for the first one or two days because my instincts would kick in and I"d have my lunch, I"d have a cup of coffee, and then I would want that chocolate.But after a few days of not doing it, it became normal.
