Today, I would like to share with you the story of "The Boy and the Fence." This story illustrates how a boy learns to manage his emotions and express his thoughts rationally. I encourage all of us to learn to take deep breaths and think calmly when we are angry, to express ourselves in a rational manner, and not to let our emotions dictate our actions. This story also reminds us that emotions are the masters of our inner selves. Learning to control them is not an easy task, but if we constantly remind ourselves to stay calm and persevere, I believe we can strive to achieve it.This reminds me of the goals of our IB education, one of which is to be a "Reflective" individual. The boy in the story, through the guidance of his father, reflects on his actions and realizes the cost of anger. In our learning and daily lives, we must also learn to reflect. Reflect on our words and deeds, our learning methods, and our relationships with others. Only through continuous reflection can we better understand ourselves, improve our shortcomings, and become better individuals.Another goal is to be a "Communicator." The boy in the story once hurt others due to his anger, which is actually a failure in communication. We communicate with others every day, but not every communication achieves the desired effect. Sometimes, we may say hurtful things due to a loss of emotional control, just like the nails the boy hammered into the fence, leaving indelible marks. Therefore, we must learn to express our thoughts and emotions in appropriate ways and to listen to others" voices. Only then can we build good relationships and create a harmonious campus atmosphere.So, how can we apply these goals to our real lives? When encountering conflicts and contradictions, we can first take deep breaths and calm down, instead of impulsively venting our emotions. We can try to put ourselves in others" shoes, understand their feelings and positions, and then express our thoughts in a peaceful and rational manner. At the same time, we must also learn to listen and give others the opportunity to express themselves. Campus Safety — Fire Emergency Evacuation DrillDate: April 15In the fire emergency evacuation drill held, all teachers and students in the school understood the dangers of fire, grasped knowledge of fire prevention, learned how to use fire extinguishers, became familiar with the evacuation routes and safety assembly points on the MIS campus, and maintained calmness and made correct judgments in emergencies, achieving effective actions. We hope that through these drills, students can participate in evacuation exercises in an environment close to reality, thereby improving their ability to respond to fires.

MIS Legal Education CourseDate: April 17On Thursday of this week, MIS held a legal education course themed "Cybersecurity Education and Publicity for Primary and Middle School Students," aimed at enhancing students" awareness of cybersecurity and self-protection capabilities. The lecture focused on the values students should establish when facing the internet, as well as how to discern complex online information and avoid fraud.

IB-PYP Assembly: Cultivating Future Leaders" Self-Management SkillsDate: April 17At this PYP assembly, students shared videos of their IB Field Trip. The videos showcased their remarkable moments during the field trip, including exploring cutting-edge technology, experiencing traditional crafts, connecting with nature, and visiting the world of wildlife. The students shared their most memorable experiences and gains, demonstrating their enthusiasm for learning and the rich rewards they have reaped.

今天,我将与大家分享《男孩与篱笆》的故事。这个故事讲述了一个男孩如何学会控制自己的情绪以及如何理智地表达自己的想法。希望大家共同学习在愤怒时深呼吸,冷静思考,用理智的方式表达自己的想法,而不让情绪左右自己的行为。这个故事也提醒我们,情绪是我们内心的主人,学会驾驭它不是一件容易的事,但如果我们时刻提醒自己冷静并且坚持,相信你们能够努力做到。这让我想起了我们IB教育中的培养目标。其中之一便是“反思者(Reflective)”。这个男孩通过父亲的引导,反思自己的行为,意识到愤怒的代价。在我们的学习和生活中,我们也要学会反思。反思自己的言行,反思自己的学习方法,反思自己的人际关系。只有通过不断地反思,我们才能更好地认识自己,改进自己的不足,成为一个更好的人。另一个目标是“沟通者(Communicator)”。故事中的男孩曾经因为愤怒而伤害了他人,这其实也是一种沟通方式的失误。我们每天都在与他人沟通,但并非每一次沟通都能达到理想的效果。有时候,我们可能会因为情绪的失控而说出伤害他人的话,就像男孩在篱笆上钉下的钉子一样,留下难以磨灭的痕迹。因此,我们要学会用恰当的方式表达自己的想法和情绪,学会倾听他人的声音,这样才能建立起良好的人际关系,营造和谐的校园氛围。那么,我们该如何将这些目标运用到实际生活中呢?当遇到冲突和矛盾时,我们可以先深呼吸,冷静下来,而不是冲动地发泄情绪。我们可以尝试换位思考,理解他人的感受和立场,然后再用平和、理性的方式表达自己的想法。同时,我们也要学会倾听,给予他人表达的机会,这样我们才能更好地解决问题,避免不必要的伤害。Spelling Bee国际英文拼词大会国赛荣誉祝贺MIS学生在Spelling Bee国际英文拼词大会国赛中斩获佳绩!

校园安全——火灾应急疏散演习时间:4月15日在举行的火灾应急疏散安全演习中,全校师生了解火灾的危害,掌握预防火灾的知识,学习灭火器的使用方法,熟悉MIS校园疏散路线和安全集合点,并在紧急情况下保持冷静,正确判断,达成了有效行动。我们希望通过这些演习,学生能够在接近真实的环境下进行疏散演习,从而提高他们对于火灾的应对能力。

MIS法制课程时间:4月17日周四,MIS 举办了一场主题为《中小学生网络安全宣传教育》的法制课程,旨在提升学生的网络安全意识与自我保护能力。讲座内容聚焦于学生在面对网络时应树立的价值观,以及如何甄别网络中的复杂信息并避免欺诈。

IB-PYP主题集会:培养未来领袖的自我管理能力时间:4月17日在本次PYP集会上,学生们分享了自己制作的IB实践课程视频。视频中展现了他们在实践课程中的精彩瞬间,包括探索前沿科技、体验传统技艺、亲近自然和走进野生动物世界等。学生们分享自己印象最深刻的经历和收获,让我们感受到了他们的学习热情和颇丰的收获。
