Topic: A Rule That’s Important in Your School or WorkPart 3 (Discussion):On what occasions can children be forgiven if they don’t follow rules?Well, I think it’s if, particularly if they’re young children and it’s the first time that they’ve broken that rule, then that’s certainly something that can be forgiven.I don’t think that they should absolutely just be excused of anything. You know, they should at least be told that they’ve broken that rule.And then the people in authority, either the parents or the teachers, would hope that the next time they would follow the rule and they wouldn’t forget.But if they keep breaking the rules, then I think that changes, that becomes something that’s a little bit more problematic.So I would say, yeah, the first time that children break a rule, they can be forgiven.What rules should people follow when using public transport?Well, I think public transport and public places in general, it’s important to just behave in a respectful waySo if you’re shouting or you’re, like, swearing at people or you’re throwing things around, that’s obviously going to make it very uncomfortable for the other people around you.So I think it would probably be a good idea just to follow the Golden Rule. So behave and treat other people the way that you would want those people to behave and the way you would want to be treated by them.So just being considerate, being respectful. I think if people follow those rules, then everybody will probably just about get along okay
