I remember departing from Changsha to Hong Kong, and I chose to take the high-speed train as my mode of transportation. The journey by train was very comfortable, allowing me to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the window. Additionally, the facilities on board were very well-equipped, which made me feel quite pleasant.However, I almost missed my trip to Hong Kong that day. The reason was that I overslept. When I woke up, I realized I was running out of time. I rushed to get up, wash up, pack my luggage, and then took a taxi to the train station. Fortunately, I arrived at the station just before the train departed and successfully boarded. At that moment, I felt very nervous and anxious because I almost missed this trip. However, I also realized the importance of time management and decided to pay more attention to time in the future, avoiding similar situations.Luckily, I arrived in Hong Kong smoothly, where I met up with a good friend from my middle school, Fiona. She moved to Hong Kong due to her parents" work transfer during our second year, and since we didn"t have mobile phones at that time, we had been out of touch for nearly ten years. Therefore, our unexpected reunion made us both very happy. However, we only spent less than two days together. One reason was the high cost of visiting popular attractions in Hong Kong, another was the overcrowding, and lastly, my friend Fiona received a phone call from her boss saying she had to work overtime. Despite this, we still had a wonderful time.Before we parted, we visited a less crowded but interesting place with historical buildings and stories. This site is called “Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple," which is one of the most famous temples in Hong Kong. Its architectural style is very unique, blending elements of traditional Chinese architecture and modern designs. It is said that this temple has a history of over a hundred years and was built to commemorate Wong Tai Sin. He is a deity in Chinese folk belief who is believed to bring good luck and blessings.In this temple, we could see some worshippers coming to pray and seek blessings. The atmosphere here was very peaceful, making people feel quite relaxed and comfortable. We also visited some historical buildings and artifacts in the temple, learning about Wong Tai Sin"s life and his status in Chinese culture. The historical stories here were very interesting, giving us a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture.In the end, I returned from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, where I stayed at a hotel for one night, preparing to fly back to Changsha the next afternoon. I think Shenzhen is a city very suitable for young people to live in. Its economic development is very rapid, offering many opportunities and challenges. Furthermore, its cultural atmosphere is very open and inclusive, allowing young people to freely express their thoughts andcreativity. Additionally, Shenzhen"s urban planning is very modern, with many beautiful parks and attractions that let people enjoy the perfect blend of nature and the city. Overall, this trip was very enjoyable. I plan to invite my friend Fiona to travel together again this summer.
