Last Friday, through a heartwarming Mother"s Day themed activity, we vividly demonstrated the core IB learner attribute of "caring for others." Our campus was filled with warmth and creativity: the vibrant dance flash mob showcased youthful vitality, and the floral art pieces meticulously crafted by students in the flower arrangement workshop carried the most sincere blessings for their mothers. The hand-written greeting cards further transformed gratitude into tangible and cherished memories.In terms of academic exploration, we are delighted to see the remarkable curiosity and enthusiasm for learning displayed by our primary school students in the last inquiry unit. The first phase of the IDU course in the secondary school has also fully demonstrated the value of interdisciplinary learning—students have not only established organic connections between different areas of knowledge but have also cultivated the ability to think from multiple perspectives.As Children"s Day approaches, we will embark on two meaningful philanthropic journeys to fulfill our promises. We will visit the Chengdu Cancer Hospital and the Chengdu Children"s Welfare Institute to deliver your heartfelt donations to the children in need. Campus safety drills and psychology courses will continue as scheduled. In June, we will celebrate Father"s Day with gratitude and assess learning outcomes through end-of-term evaluations. MIS Safety Drill - Earthquake Emergency EvacuationDate: May 12Campus safety is always the first guarantee for MlS to ensure students" happy learning. It is MIS"s responsibility to help students correctly respond to emergencies and dangerous situations, and establish a sense of safety and self-protection ability. Familiarity with and understanding of campus escape routes, and learning the causes of earthquakes and how to self-rescue and escape during an earthquake are compulsory courses this week.MIS Dining Hall"s Food Safety JourneyDate: May 13At MIS, we firmly believe that food safety is the cornerstone of campus life. It is not just about rules and regulations; it is about creating a healthy and enjoyable dining experience for everyone. This is why this week we hosted an engaging and informative food safety workshop, inviting students and staff to explore how our dining hall team works tirelessly to ensure that every meal is both safe and delicious.

IB-PYP Assembly: A Glimpse into the PYP Exhibition: An Impressive Exploration by Grade 5 Students!Date: May 15During this week"s PYP assembly, our Grade 5 students shared their ongoing exhibition research topics and interim findings with the entire school for the first time. They formed their own teams, selected their own topics, delved into libraries and the internet for information, organized their findings, and attempted to express their understanding in diverse ways.Some of the impressive exploration directions included:Group A investigated the mysteries of black holes and white holes and showcased a handmade cosmic model.Group B explored the profound impact of art history on human civilization and created original paintings in the style of Picasso.Group C shared the development history of ball sports and traced how they have interacted with human social progress.Group D, inspired by the game "Minecraft," examined how the discovery and utilization of mineral resources have propelled human civilization.

MIS Student Mental Development Course ReviewDate: May 13-16MIS closely focused on the psychological characteristics and needs of students at different stages, and organized three psychological courses. Through a variety of rich and diverse teaching activities and formats, we guided students to understand themselves, empathize with others, manage their emotions, and enhance their interpersonal skills.

MIS安全演习-地震应急疏散时间:5月12日校园安全始终是MIS确保学生快乐学习的第*保障,学生正确应对突发事件和危险情况,建立安全意识和自我保护能力是MIS的职责所在,熟悉和了解校园逃生路线,学习地震的成因与发生地震时如何自救与逃生是本周的必修课。MIS餐厅的食品安全之旅时间:5月13日在MIS,我们坚信食品安全是校园生活的基石。这不仅仅是规则和条例,更是为每个人创造健康、愉悦的用餐体验。因此我们举办了一场生动有趣的食品安全工作坊,邀请学生和教职工一起探索我们的餐厅团队是如何努力确保每一餐都既安全又美味的。

IB-PYP 主题集会:PYP毕业展前瞻:G5孩子们的精彩初探!时间:5月15日在当周的PYP集会上,我们G5的同学们向全校分享了他们正在进行的展览研究主题和阶段性成果。他们全部由自己组队,自主选题,深入图书馆与互联网检索信息,梳理线索、整理资料,并尝试用多样的方式表达自己的理解。我们看到了这样一些令人印象深刻的探索方向: A组同学研究了黑洞和白洞的奥秘,并展示了自己动手制作的宇宙模型;B组同学探讨了艺术史对人类文明的深远影响,还用毕加索风格创作了原创画作; C组同学分享了球类运动的发展历史,追踪了它如何与人类社会进步产生互动; D组从“我的世界”游戏出发,深入了解了矿物资源的发现与利用对人类文明的推动作用。

MIS学生心理发展课程回顾时间:5月13-16日MIS紧密围绕学生在不同阶段的心理特点和需求,举办三场心理课程,通过丰富多样的教学活动和形式,引导学生认识自我、理解他人、管理情绪、提升人际交往能力。
