Actually, she is one of the masters in Chinese calligraphy. And she was the president of the calligraphy association of our city. So I decided to learn the Chinese calligraphy from her.I enrolled on 10 lessons. And at the first lesson, She walked me through the ABC of calligraphy. At the beginning, I couldn"t even hold the painting brush steadily. So she put an egg in my palm and told me that it would help me hold still. And after that, I tried several times to write a very basic and simple stroke. But since I have the sloppy handwriting, the strokes looked like a disaster. And she was so patient that she told me the key to learn the skill is to find the inner peace. So with her instruction, I finally mastered the skill. My Chinese calligraphy writing finally started to be pleasing to the eyes. I had a very strong sense of achievement.I"m grateful for this lesson, and I think she is doing a great job promoting the Chinese calligraphy. If this art form disappeared, it would be a huge loss to our culture.Part 31.Which can help you remember things better? Words or photos？Yes, images are far more memorable than words. We are all familiar with saying “a picture speaks a thousand words”Words are hard to remember because they" re abstract and our brains can"t easily latch onto them. On the other hand, our brains store and recall images much more easily. 2. Why do some people have better memory?The human brain is very complex, and it is very difficult to understand why some people have a better memory than others. Part of the reason can be genetics and some people are just born with better memory. But at the same, l think memory is like a muscle and can be trained. People can use many techniques to train their memories to be better. 3. Why can some people remember some little things in life?I think it is Technology that helps some people remember some little things in life because every piece of information is made accessible in a snap of a finger. It has built-in alerts and alarms for when people have a scheduled event. It acts as a personal assistant (like Siri and Google) who reminds us of our to-do list. It also helps us remember places through its built-in maps. Not to mention that they are very handy and user friendly. 4.Do men and women have differences in memory?Well, from where I stand, women tend to have better short-term memory than men. For example, women can remember a string of telephone number, which can easily fade away in men"s memory.However, when it comes to navigation, men have better memory about the locations better than women.
