Of a large number of great inventions of human history, the internet can without any doubt make the list of the most valuable intelligent creations of human beings. However, whether it is able to top the list is controversial.
主一段：
To begin with, most contemporary people have the same life experience that the wide use of the internet and its related products such as some applications and software are unprecedentedly changing our lifestyle dramatically. This is why no one can deny the huge convenience they bring us. They to a great extent make many things we thought impossible possible. Naturally, more and more people especially younger generations are convinced that the invention of the internet is with unparalleled greatness. In fact, their viewpoint on the internet is limited by the age they live in.
主二段：
Looking back into the past, our ancestors always used their wisdom to overturn the lifestyle they used to have by inventing a novel product or creating a frontier concept. For instance, they manufactured automobiles to replace carriages for transporting people and goods, and they used telephones to make communicating with people overseas possible. Instances like this are countless, but most of those happened in the last century or even longer ago. Therefore, people nowadays are accustomed to using them in our daily life and take all of them for granted. Namely, they are paying more attention to the change of our life that is currently occurring. As a result, they more or less ignore the true value of what our ancestors had done for us, since they have not imagined what our life would be like without those inventions.
结尾段：
In conclusion, everyone in this day and age ought to appreciate and enjoy the internet-based lifestyle, just like centuries ago our forefathers cheered for seeing a car and applauded for calling their friends living in another city. To be specific, no particular invention of human history deserves the first place of the list, and all of them are with their unique magnificence.
