题目大意
为了学习不同的语言以及文化，学生应该在学习和生活一段时间。同意不同意？
思路解析
这是一道观点类大作文，题目不难，作为准留学生的各位考鸭，对于出国读书有哪些好处应该不陌生。但这道题有两个限定词，“language”和“culture”，因此所有利弊讨论都要围绕着这两点来进行。如果你写了“提升独立自主能力”之类的，那就偏题了~
我们建议从“同意”的角度切入，月半鸭带大家分别来梳理下，出国读书生活对学习语言和文化的好处。
对语言的好处主要体现在两方面，一是在当地语言环境的生活，能够提升你的听力和口语表达能力，并且能让你学到许多更地道的表达。二是在国外学习过程中，你必须要阅读大量的文献或者写eassy，那这个过程会提升你的词汇量以及提高你对这门语言的阅读能力和写作能力。
对学习文化主要的好处是，在国外生活，可以通过和当地人接触、参与活动等等方式，体验当地的食物、节日、风俗、礼仪，去切身体会很多在国内只是存在于文字的东西，甚至去了解许多在课本上没有的内容。

It is argued that students should study abroad to gain both foreign language and culture when they were young. In my opinion, I totally agree with this point of view.
Studying abroad grants students the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in a new language, which can hone their language skills. When living in a new country where everyone speaks another language, there’s no way to avoid it. Everything from speaking to locals to ordering food and watching TV will all be done in the local language. In this case, students can pick up on local slang and idioms that people understand and relate to, which are the things that can’t be learned from a book. Moreover, it is necessary to read loads of study materials in order to fully understand the lectures, which helps students with the vocabulary and grammar.
In addition, I believe that youngsters will obtain the cultural values when they have a real experience in the different country. American author Mark Twain put it best when he said, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” In a world that is more connected than ever, an open-minded appreciation and understanding of other cultures is essential. Not only will living and studying abroad enrich our understanding of different people and customs, we will also gain a broader context for understanding today’s most pressing global issues. From peers to professors, learning in an international environment will challenge our assumptions and introduce us to new ways of thinking about the world.
In conclusion, I would argue that studying and living in a foreign country brings lots of benefits for young people in both language capacity and cultural values.
