Figures show that some countries have an ever-increasing proportion of population who are aged 15 or even younger. What do you think the current and future effects it may have in those countries?

现在一些国家15岁以及以下的人口越来越多。你认为对于国家目前以及未来的影响是什么？

思路解析

这是一道报告类大作文，讨论15岁以下人口越来越多会对国家造成的影响，题目分别问了current 和 future 两方面的影响，因此在写作中需要分别进行分析，可以主体段1分析现在的影响，主体段2分析未来的影响。

我们先来看当下的影响。

大量15岁以下的青少年和儿童，意味着国家和社会需要进行相应的教育投入保障孩子的学习，需要投入大量的资金开设幼儿园、中小学等教育设施，同时配备大量合格的老师，这对于整个国家的教育系统会产生压力。同时，大量的学生在升学上会产生竞争，一方面父母和孩子为了更好的升学成果产生焦虑，另一方面学习机构、托管的需求也会促进民办教育行业的发展，增加相关就业岗位。

但是，如果教育资源不足，导致青少年和儿童失学，因为其辨别能力不足，缺少了正面教育和管理，容易被不良内容误导，又因为其精力和体力充沛，进而可能成为社会不稳定因素。

然后我们再来看未来的影响。

大量接受过良好教育的年轻人，对于国家和社会来说是非常重要的年轻劳动力，在社会拥有充足的就业岗位的前提下，能够促进国家的生产力提升。但如果就业岗位严重不足，则意味着这些青少年完成学业后会面临失业的问题，为了保障生活可能进行犯罪等不良行为，进而对社会产生负面影响。

此外，就像刚刚所说，如果年轻人在一开始就没法接受良好的教育，大量文盲或低教育水平的人口也无法在未来成为合格的劳动力，对于国家整体发展是不利的。

Some demographic surveys have shown that the proportions of young people are rising rapidly. This may be because of any reasons such as illiteracy and poverty or wars or any other reasons. This essay shall delve into the immediate and long-term outcomes of this trend on those countries.

The most important current impact of such a trend would be on the national economy. To be specific, the government has to invest a lot on educational institutes, as more children need more schools and colleges, which will definitely exert an adverse effect on other important fields such as infrastructure and medical care. In addition to the effects on economy, there would be social implications also. The young population has lots of energies, which must be channelized in the right direction, or it would lead to crime and violence in society.

Considering the future effects of this trend, I believe that it would mostly depend on the economic factors and job facilities of a country. If the country has a great economic stability and can create plenty of job opportunities in the future, the under-aged population will become the de facto to the economy in the future and that would enable the country to develop rapidly. The country will have a huge workers and professionals in the future, and they would be able to increase the GDP of such a country. By contrast, if the country fails to ensure jobs and business opportunities when those children will become adults, the outcome would be catastrophic. The unemployment and crime rate would surely increase and that would negatively affect the social stability.

To sum up, the long-term effect of having more young people depends on how the situation is handled today. If handled well, the culture and lifestyle of these countries would be transformed. Fresh opportunities and challenges would both be on the way. The trend would cause multiple possible effects and these countries should strengthen the education and health infrastructure to overcome its negative influence.
