科技的发展让人与人之间联系更为紧密了。在更久远的时候，人们通过信件联系往往需要几天甚至十几天才能送到对方手里，但是如今手机、网络和聊天软件普及，使得人们随时随地都能相互联系，即使双方分别在不同国家，也能很方便地进行沟通和了解到对方情况。同时，联系的形式也更加丰富，包括了文字、语音和视频各种样式。

其次来看利弊，科技带来的紧密联系对人们来说是有益的。一方面分居异地的亲人每天都能联系甚至通过视频见到对方，可以减轻相思之苦且有助于维系家人之间的感情。另一方面联系手段也促进的工作效率，许多商务洽谈和工作开展都可以通过在线的形式进行而不用非得线下见面。这无疑节约大量花费在路程上的时间，并且可以将这些时间用于更重要的地方。

Although the pros and cons of technology in human interaction has remained a matter of conjecture, I tend to say that the new emerged e-communication model has made interpersonal relationship better connected than ever before, a trend which is optimistic to me.

The advanced technical achievement has streamlined the connection between people in a more efficient and convenient way. As for convenience, thanks to the popularity of smartphones and the advance of Internet, the younger generation is allowed to contact others almost anywhere and anytime, which is unimaginable to their predecessors, who used to meet others in person in those days without telecommunicating methods.

On the other hand, the efficiency brought by the modern tendency can be seen clearly from the contrast between emails and traditional letters. While it used to take days for a letter to be delivered by postmen, the same work now can be accomplished only by a touch on screens of smartphones or computers.

In terms of the ramification of this development, I would say that this tendency deserves to be embraced by modern people. Living in modern society, young adults have to speed up their ways of working so as to keep abreast with the constant flux of market. In this respect, it is the wide spreading of e-communication trend that revolutionizes the business model by a series of innovations, such as video conferencing and online seminar, which not only lead to the dramatic increase of timeliness in communication but also launch the era of globalization.

To sum up, considering the instantaneity and convenience brought by the communication technology, I can safely draw a conclusion that the modern tendency exerts a positive influence on both individuals’ work and the overall development of the commercial world.
