I believe that people are increasingly independent, despite the fact that there are strong arguments for both perspectives.On one hand, I can understand why some people think that individuals are becoming more dependent. With the rise of technology and the internet, people rely on each other for information, services, and support. For example, when someone needs help with a problem, they can quickly ask friends or strangers online. This kind of dependency is also seen in work environments where teamwork and collaboration are essential. Many projects require the input of several people to succeed, which makes individuals dependent on their colleagues. Additionally, the growing popularity of social media means people often seek validation and advice from others, showing a reliance on social networks for emotional support.However, I still believe that individuals are becoming more independent. Modern technology, while fostering some dependency, also empowers people to do many things on their own. For instance, smartphones and various apps allow people to handle tasks that previously required assistance. With navigation apps, people can find their way without asking for directions. Similarly, fitness apps enable users to exercise and maintain health without needing a personal trainer. Additionally, online education platforms give people the ability to gain knowledge and skills independently, bypassing traditional classroom settings. For example, someone interested in learning a new language can use apps like Duolingo or websites like Coursera to study on their own schedule. This flexibility and accessibility support a higher degree of self-reliance.In conclusion, while there are arguments that suggest people are more dependent on each other, I believe that modern technology and changing work dynamics are making people more independent.
