I would like to look ahead with you on three important events. As the spring break approaches, I hope you can effectively manage your studies and personal lives, maintaining a healthy balance between the two. This week, our elementary school section will host the IB Celebration and a review of the IB field trip. We will invite parents to campus to witness your learning achievements and participate in the evaluation process. I look forward to seeing your carefully designed posters, engaging videos, and vivid photos, which will illustrate the insights you have gained from your practical courses. The middle school section will conduct mid-term assessments, IDU (Interdisciplinary Unit) presentations, field trip showcases, and parent-teacher conferences. Your mid-term assessments cover nine subjects this week. I encourage you to view these assessments as a means to understand your learning progress, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and set more targeted goals for future learning, rather than simply focusing on grades. This Wednesday marks World Book Day. I am excited to see you dress up as characters from your favorite books and share these fascinating stories with your peers. The significance of World Book Day lies in fostering a love for reading, nurturing your imagination and creativity, and helping you learn to appreciate literary works from different perspectives. By dressing up as book characters, you will gain a deeper understanding of their personalities and story backgrounds. Sharing these stories will also allow you to exchange ideas with your classmates and broaden your horizons. I hope you will discover the joy of reading and carry this passion into your daily lives. After school this Friday, we will welcome the spring break and the May Day holiday. I urge you to plan your time wisely, both for study and relaxation. This includes scheduling your holiday assignments to ensure continuity in your learning, as well as arranging time for relaxation and entertainment, such as outdoor activities and family gatherings. I also hope you can spend quality time with your family, enjoying the warmth and happiness of home. Whether in your studies or personal lives, maintain a positive attitude and strive to achieve a balance between the two.MIS Reading CoursesDates: Every Monday to Thursday

World Book Day Event ReviewDate: April 23On March 23rd, we celebrated the 30th World Book Day. With careful preparation by the entire faculty and student body, a splendid reading festival was grandly launched on campus.Students, dressed in costumes they had meticulously prepared, transformed into their favorite literary characters. Some became the brave and fearless Harry Potter, others the witty and agile Sherlock Holmes, and still others the courageous and mischievous Nezha. Through this role-playing, students not only gained a deeper understanding of the characters" personalities but also bridged the gap with classic literary works, as if they had become part of the stories themselves, embarking on thrilling adventures alongside the characters.During their free time, students gathered together, sharing their favorite books and the stories behind them. Immersed in the ocean of books, they experienced the charm and power of written words. In this process, students not only broadened their knowledge but also sparked intellectual exchanges, igniting their boundless enthusiasm for reading. The bookmark design contest and the favorite book poster design contest added significant color to the event. Students fully exercised their creativity and talent, using colorful brushes to draw exquisite patterns on bookmarks and posters. During the voting session, students carefully examined each bookmark and poster, casting their valuable votes for the works they admired most. The voting results will be announced at next week"s midday assembly, and we all look forward to this moment.Additionally, the event announced the current recruitment status of student librarians. As the recruitment process progresses smoothly, an increasing number of students are joining this honorable group. Meanwhile, the MIS Library Management Center has also called on all students to join this team and collectively foster a reading atmosphere on campus.
