本场考试的难度较高。

2. 整体分析:历史类(P1)、心理学(P2)、自然科学类(P3)。

本次考试P1和P2是新题,P3是多次考到的旧文。

第一篇出现的题型是人名理论匹配,细节匹配和单选题开局,是个很多考生认为极度不友好的题型组合。无论语言难度还是定位难度都比较高,是一片容易浪费大量时间的篇章。  

第二篇文章出现的题型搭配为,匹配和填空,是一篇新题,匹配的部分是人名理论匹配,和剑桥12中天才那篇文章不论是形式还是词汇内容都非常相似,余下填空的部分难度不大。

第三篇是单选+填空+判断的搭配形式,虽然整体篇章的定位耗时,但是出题考察点还是比较温和的,如果考生以这篇文章入手,应该会更得心应手一点。

考试建议

1.本赛季进行到3月18日了,离本赛季结束还有一个月多一点。本场考试虽然很多同学经历了非常痛苦的阅读部分,比如开篇第一段文章就出现了很多学生都很无奈的句子配对题,其他几篇文章的难度也非常不友好,大多数考生抱怨时间不够用,但是我们依然觉得本场考试的难度是一个震幅调整性质的,并不代表本赛季余下的考试会以这个难度为基准。因为从一月以来这两个多月的考试还是秉持着稳定的保守的难度,最近要考试的同学一定要谨记,简单题不失分,熟悉定位方法和答案要求。其次,一定不能忽略配对题,因为基本配对题也是必考题型和有区分度的题型。

2. 话题方面,参考本场考试对人文类的大量考察,下场考试的话题可能有自然科学类,社会类和动物类。例如:C17T1P1,C15T3P2,C12T7P3等篇章和本场考试有高度类似,不论从话题上,还是出题难度上来说。

3. 重点浏览2018到2022年机经。

点评:本场考试整体难度教大,part2部分的地图题开始就进入了混乱状态,part3部分也是听得云里雾里。今天整场考试中考试题型变化较多,地图题多选题等特殊题型均有出现,在这里也建议大家在平时练习时就要做到全面复习,不要抱有侥幸心理,每一种常见或特殊题型都要保证有均衡练习到。今天的地图题应该算是整场考试中偏难部分,不少同学反应跟不上音频,在这里建议大家在平时练习时要对做听写练习,尤其是方位词汇,一定要熟练敏感,多做相关练习。参考剑桥练习:剑8Test4S2,剑16Test1S2,剑9Test2S2等。

备注:在接下来的备考中,选择题(尤其是单选和配对)仍然是重中之重,在练习时大家需要多去积累常见的同义替换,在把握定位的同时强化词汇的转换,明辨陷阱选项。在练习听力的过程中,由于p2/3的难度有所提升,注意可以适当加快音频播放速度,平时练习时可加至1.25-1.5倍速练习。填空题部分强调对单复数的辨析听写练习,注意连读/吞音等特殊发音现象。

考试建议

1. 场景方面:场景方面依旧是主流场景(咨询、展览、课程讨论、讲座),在接下来的考试中,考生还应将重点放在P1租房,P2咨询,活动及公共场所设施介绍,P3课程讨论及论文写作,P4动植物,环境,历史,学术等各类学术讲座。

2. 机经:如需参考机经,以2019-2021年机经为主。

小作文:静态饼图

2.整体分析:

Task 1:延续上一场考试,本次小作文考察仍为饼图。但与3月11日不同,本次饼图为静态图。

注意:

本题考题为静态类饼图,且两个饼的成分相同,所以考生们在写作时需要结合两个饼的具体内容比较来写。其次,在饼图的写作中,考生们还需要“从句子主语出发,提升句子表达的多样性”。以饼1为例,可能会出现的句子是:

As much as 36% of the whole water cost was allocated on livestock.

The water expenses of livestock accounted for roughly 36%.

The percentage of expenditure that livestock consumed stood at as much as 36% in the year of 2004, followed by ….

3.Task 2 :教育类话题

题目翻译:大学生应该多学一些科目而非专注于某一个科目。同意与否?

从话题上来说,这属于教育话题。这是一道屡见不鲜的旧题,我们的教材《高分范文书(第八版)》189页原题,纸笔考试20170803也考过此题。建议各位考生在进行雅思备考的时候,对于经典的=考题还是需要有一定的熟悉。

从类型上来说,这篇考题属于同意与否类的文章。考生们在审题时不仅要着眼于wide range of subjects以及specialists in one subjects二者之间的讨论,还需要考虑到这些对于大学生(university students)的影响。

从结构上来说,可以采取4段式的写法,优先写自己倾向的观点。此处老师给大家一些可能的思路:

Wide:如果学习很多科目,学生会有更为宽广的知识面(broaden one’s horizon),也更能够促进其全面发展(thus allowing them to develop into all-rounded individuals).有的科目看似没有太大用处,实际上很有价值(have many benefits)。例如,学习哲学(the access to philosophy)可以让学生(enable students to do sth.)从不同角度分析问题(consider problem-tackling from different perspectives)。/例如外专业的学习可以对本专业的学习有促进作用(behave as a contributing catalyst to ),尤其是当这些息息相关的时候(especially when courses of the two areas are closely related)。/例如外专业的学习(out-major learning)会给本专业的学习乃至今后的工作带来灵感。Steve Jobs就是一个很好的例子。他本是学习电脑科学的(computing science),但是对于书法calligraphy的学习给其之后苹果电脑的字体设计中带来了超多灵感。(many artistic fonts were inspired by his out-major learning in calligraphy) 所以这些不是没有帮助,只是需要时间来证明而已。

Specialized:从找工作的角度来看(from the perspective of ),成为专业的人士更有利于就业(be increasingly competitive if focusing on courses in a limited range)。例如,当应聘一个会计相关的工作时(applying for an accounting occupation),公司面试的时候大概率会评估你的专业知识技能(assess the applicant’s specialized knowledge and skills)而非测试你是否了解历史或者地理(whether he or she is expertise in history or geography)。此外,一个人的成就是由他的长处而不是由短板决定的(be determined by his strengths rather than his weakness),所以一个学生应当选择一个专业领域,投入他们所有的时间精力(devote all their time and endeavor to the domain),这样更有可能获得成功。相反,如果什么科目都学,尤其是学一些自己不擅长的科目,则会浪费学生的时间,而且有可能让他们丧失对学习的兴趣(their interest in … may be faded)。

考试建议

1.小作文:柱图等数据图仍然需要格外关注;流程图和地图也需要适当学习;

2.大作文:社会类考题仍然是关注的重点;其中科技和犯罪类话题需要多留意。

Part1:

第一部分题库依然保持稳定,本季高频题普遍难度不高,且题量不算太大,需要筹备的语料和生词都属于较生活的范畴,考生们可以尝试每题写一写,两三句话即可,考前多磨合几次,保证考试时更稳定的发挥。

Part2:

第二部分难题和高频题本次出现在物品题和时间题当中。比如,不喜欢的广告这个话题,需要考生准备充分的细节,备考就显得尤为重要。否则,在考场利用一分钟时间,很难做到充实又有逻辑的叙述。

考试建议

虽然是口语考试,考前筹备材料还是非常有必要的。对于平常开口说英语机会很少的同学们来说,写一写思路有助于保证考场面对考官时流畅稳定的输出,也可以帮自己建立信心。不背诵的基础上,参考准备的材料复习,更有利于UP备考效率,理清头绪。预祝大家考试成功!
